Ag Technology Sales Specialist
Sioux International Inc., a full line Case IH dealer in Sioux Falls, is looking for an Ag Technology Sales Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a large and growing dealer, in a great city like Sioux Falls.
The primary responsibility of an Ag Technology Sales Specialist is to sell the precision guidance & application products and services offered by Sioux International. The ATSS is expected to maintain relationships with current customers and generate new customers.
Service down customers in the field, and take calls throughout planting, spraying, and harvest.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues of customer displays, application controls, precision planting and harvesting systems, section controls, and mapping.
Work closely with and support wholegoods, service and parts departments to address customer needs.
During the off season, make customer visits to develop relationships and generate new business.
Keep up to date with Ag technology developments and attend manufacturer training courses.
2 year precision ag degree or significant formal training is required.
Experience with AFS, Trimble and other precision products and systems, including set up and maintenance of GPS application control, guidance, telematics, section control, mapping, and variable rate in cab technology.
Technical and operational competency with agricultural equipment
Flexibility of working hours during planting, spraying and harvest.
Computer proficiency, including MS Office and other programs.
Positive, customer oriented attitude and ability to work with a wide range of personalities.
